TdF finishes with an ITT in Nice in '24
First three stages in Italy. 2 ITTs, one in first week and the final stage. Sprinters seem to have slim pickings this year but this will make for an exciting race.
A bit ambivalent about not finishing in Paris but I'm not in the race so I'll enjoy that the final day being an ITT could mean a surprise upset. This is the kind of drama I enjoy!

"not finishing in Paris"
Olympics, right? 5 days between last stage ends, Olys start.

Not sure there's a connection between the Olympics and the ending city, but the tour is starting a week early to accommodate them.
That's going to be a hard choice for some riders....no way you can be at your best for the Olympics if you've just finished contending for a grand tour

Just semantics of parons, My brain figures a lot more over lap in sheer numbers.
After seeing the Glasgow crowds for the races in the town center circuit I think I have a different appreciation of event crowds. And I doubt the worlds approaches either the TDF or Olys.
In my minds eye more cyclist might stay after TDF for Olys than if the Olys came before for Olys fans??
Just spouting ideas. Take away being ' a lot of folks' will be in Paris, more than usual for TDF. I am betting yes and by a margin.
Only wish we were among them. ;) Imagine being able to see both in same vacation!
