No evidence, just "look at how fast they go" stuff. I get why people are suspicious of the peloton, it's certainly deserved, but they do fairly extensive checks of the bikes at these races, don't they?

So his entire argument is that one rider is faster than others at particular times, hence there must be mechanical doping going on? What a dipstick!

Yes, the UCI does check bikes for motors, batteries, etc. It's not happening. Heck, you could probably tell just by weighing the bikes; motors and batteries powerful enough to make a difference are heavy.
