I find that to be a very high price for some meat in pita bread. Or are you talking about Giro helmets, or something else that even us old guys don't know without more information?

That right, Sprinters not Rallys. Oops..

I grabbed some 28 and 30 Hutchy pairs for 22.00 tire.

I had got 4 of the Fusion 5 non TL Performance [pre-Storm compound] from Nashbar years ago for 18.00 ea and liked them so much.. I expect to see flatting soon as they thin out.

But the 28s @ 22.00 worth pursuing being my point.

I guess that we should be glad that the bike/tire industry somewhat got their inventory under control, but I do miss the post-2008 days when I could buy 22 27x1" Pasela TourGard tires for $200.

I recently installed the last one of those, they were stored in plastic but no longer near as grippy as fresh ones. I can't quite remember where they all went, must have graced a couple of flips, idk.

The last complete pair went on this dumpster found Centurion Pro-Tour just over three years ago:
