Hope springs eternal
Just registered for D2R2 next year, 160k course. You can change the course anytime, and I’ve done the 180. Rick Hardy emailed me about a week ago and let me know it was open, and I responded something like “I’m finally mature enough to not register.” Apparently not. I had a good ride today, and the worst is I make a donation to Franklin County Land Trust.

Dan, I hope it works out for you!
Until Linda recovers from her knee surgery (which is progressing very well), we won't be making any big event plans. Not that a 160K ride at D2R2 or anywhere else was actually a possibility...
This is more our speed these days and we're looking forward to checking out their offerings: https://www.farmtoforkfitness.com/

Thanks guys
Brian, Farm to Fork sounds good.
D2R2 is “aspirational” to me at this point, when used in law that term kind of means a goal that is not required and may not be achieved. But I’m hoping registration gives me some incentive to get in form. It wasn’t that long ago I did the 180, and I don’t feel that different, but there is a lot of prep to get back anywhere close to that. Actually if I ended up doing the 100k I’d be happy (but I particularly liked the 160 when I did it).
