Follies of biking in San Fran?

Anyone? We will be a few [5/15-18] days in SF and contemplating transportation options.

Hills much?

Depending on where you are riding it can be very hilly. Likewise there can be lots of traffic. Totally depends on where you are riding.

CA Content...

These SF, CA, Oakland posts are for our 5/2019 CA jaunt.

Staring in Sacramento [PDX to SAC] to catch some portions of Stages 1-2 TOC. Tahoe day [along with stage 2 TOC]. Then SAC [Roseville actually] to Emeryville/Oakland via Commuter Amtrak where we will put our 3 day SF visitor passport for Steetcar [and included transit resources] from a 4 day base at the Pickwick Hotel Market/5th.

Have one day bike rentals in SAC, and probably rent bikes one day SF and stick around the Warf Bay esplanade down flat by the water.

SFO to PDX/home.
