Wow. 49 years. Hard to believe. (I mean hard to believe I'm that old - I was 19).

I don't really remember watching the "small step," but I vividly remember listening to the landing, and the thrill that went through me on hearing, "Houston, Tranquility Base here. The Eagle has landed."

Small step

I stayed up late (after midnight?) to watch the small step. Low-res image on a 13 inch B&W TV but pretty thrilling. I was 19 too.
