Dagnabbit, as soon as our fearless leader nominates himself for the Nobel Peace Prize Kim Jong Un stops cooperating.

This geopolitics business...well it's just not business. Don't they know who I am?!

I am kinda getting tired of all this pussy footing around the highest elected exec in office 'allegedly' being a criminal, past and present. Talk about the quintessential Teflon Don.

It it a total and complete fucking joke. There, I said it. ;)

We need to get Preet Bharara in as NY Attorney General and have him bring an indictment. He wouldn't be subject to DOJ rules and policies. It would be poetic justice.

Don't be so quick to doubt Mueller

Previous investigations into Presidents have taken years. What's most important is that they have an airtight case before bringing charges against a sitting President. That doesn't mean that they will ultimately be convicted - Slick Willy taught us that - but a shoddy or incomplete case would just bolster Trump's claims that it's all a witch hunt. Give him time to do it right.

Indict

In my opinion, when Mueller finally announces his charges they will be massive and beyond the scope of any past criminal presidential behavior, money laundering, conspiracy against the United States, accepting bribes, emoluments, obstruction, and perhaps a few more. There is no law against an indictment, just a Justice Dept. policy. Policies can be changed and I believe that Rosenstein will. Whatever happens it will be a massive cluster f*ck.

Mueller is such a straight shooter that I don't think he would indict a sitting President. What I think he will do is turn over everything he has to Congress and leave it to them to decide whether or not to impeach. The evidence will be overwhelming and the Republicans will have to decide whether they have enough integrity left to do what is right.

I also think that Mueller will turn over evidence to state prosecutors wherever there is a basis for state indictments or investigations.

Of course, all of this is guesswork as the Mueller team is so well-disciplined and professional that nothing has been leaked. That alone is pretty impressive.

Contrast that with Giuliani who seems more and more unhinged every time he opens his mouth.

PLee, I agree with all of your comments, except one. Not to be persnickety, though, it is always Congress, more specifically the Senate has the "sole power to try all impeachments", with the Chief Justice presiding and impeachment meaning strictly removal of the President from office.

He's not draining the swamp, he's poisoning the natives and introducing Burmese pythons, unqualified ones at that.

re: Senate - Less anxious about them, compare the recent House and Senate reports.

...except for trump voters, hubris is powerful...

"You can’t con people, at least not for long. You can create excitement, you can do wonderful promotion and get all kinds of press, and you can throw in a little hyperbole. But if you don’t deliver the goods, people will eventually catch on."

Reality

This statement puts the lie to his entire career. As the saying goes, "You can fool some of the people all of the time, and usually that' enough."

Media darling no more?

Avenatti makes Trump and Cohen sound credible:

I guess he understands bankruptcy shell games.

His Excellency
Kim Jong Un
Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the DPRK
Pyongyang

Dear Mr. Chairman:

We greatly appreciate your time, patience and effort with respect to our recent negotiations and discussions relative to a summit long sought by both parties, which was scheduled to take place on June 12 in Singapore. ....

Sadly...I feel it is inappropriate...to have this long-planned meeting....

If you change your mind....

Donald J. Trump

And this is why summit meetings are not normally announced until most of the agreements have been worked out. Not that this meeting was ever likely. Both principals can't be trusted to keep their word.

You're in the business, right? Would you buy one of their phones? I sure as hell wouldn't either. Let me guess: Their first promotion will be free phones to salute our servicemen and women.

Didn't we have a classified location breech with Strava discussion two years ago?

OMG, Republicans will do it. They will. Free phones for the troops.

164 Days until Tuesday November 6. Vote.

It’s not a breech. It’s a discovery, i.e. clever find using data mining. Top notch intelligent analysis work on unclassified information.

Granted, that “work” wasn’t done by enemy intelligence organization but by our own people.

Someone saw water flowing from a crack in a dam.

Discovery or breech?

Discovery.

If, no one saw the crack and the dam broke, that’s a breech.

(of course I made all this up)

Memorial day tweeting, no surprise, is about dumbass.. Instead of what is actually about. Fucktard/bonespured/5xdefferred/MF has NO PLACE TO TALK ABOUT Veterans, POTUS or not.

But then agin, he really didn't this time, only patted himself on the back for what he thinks he has accomplished.

This is the place this asshole peeves me the most, in case no one noticed.
