“I don't think Rudy is competent, not just as an attorney but in life in general. Sad but I'm serious I do wonder why trump brought him on.“

Rudy’s a poster boy of the conservative right. He saved NYC on 9/11 or have you forgotten ?.

I view him as an angry man, same as I view Andrew Cuomo. Both get really vindictive towards anyone who they view as having wronged them. Rudy, outside of his 9/11 TV personna, was a really awful mayor and it hasn’t gotten him anywhere. Only thing he got lucky on was as he too is on his 3rd marriage (with #3 about to end), that’s no longer a liability, as Drumph has shown us.

So much for so called Christian and family values.

I guess I was duped by Rudy

I've never had to deal with him as a mayor and my impressions of him were positive. However, I immediately lost all respect for him when he joined Trump's team.

It seems to me that Cuomo is a complete A-hole.

Not that evangelicals are any more hypocritical than any other religious group

Actually that would be interesting to study. But at a minimum their "holier than thou" stance makes their hypocrisy all that more hard to take.

The evangelicals demonstrate a capacity for self delusion that is mind boggling.

ALL religion is self-delusion...

...and it's equally mind-boggling that anyone in a modern society believes it. Fortunately for mankind, religion is on a steady decline in much of the world.

Wife cheating

I certainly don't condone it, but if we're going to get bent out of shape over that, we have to recognize it's a pretty big club including Clinton, JFK, LBJ, etc.

infidelity

to me, that's between 45 and melania. although it does speak to character flaws that are quite common amongst all politicians as you've suggested.

separately, the ease with which the GOP and christian right overlook 45's infidelity merely underlines their hypocricy and utter shambolic-ness.

wife cheating

It's not something the majority HERE get all bend out of shape over. But it IS something the Christian right DO bend out of shape about! Hence the hypocrisy.

Not that even THAT is new. How many preachers and "religious leaders" cheat? For those who are not religious, the whole thing is laughable.

Unfortunately, everybody is affected by that bad joke. Has been, and continue to be.

Cheaters

Actually, we have that data! The rate of adultery among evangelical preachers is the same as among the general population. So despite all the fire and brimstone, they behave just like everyone else. A perfect exposition of the pervasive hypocrisy.

Similar to all those denominations that are anti-gay, and yet their choir director . . . .

Some people are worse than others!

Any individual can cheat and lie to his heart's content, like 45. Or they can choose to worship any improbably make-believe they care to. Or he could choose to be honest, not to believe any super being...

But it's those who believe in some improbable make-believe who insist everybody else to believe the same improbable make-believe. And are more than happy to join hand with well known cheater/liar just so they can force their make-believe down the throat of those who don't believe in such nonsense.

Granted, many others also join hands with the same liar/cheater for whatever other believe they share, economical, ideological... But at least they can claim NOT being hypocritical. Haha!

Let see how DT tweets this one into obscurity by claiming fake news:

The most incendiary allegation in the Avenatti document is a series of payments made to Trump’s personal lawyer by a financial firm closely linked to Russian oligarch Viktor Vekselberg, the chairman of asset manager Renova Group

I will ask again, is Avenatti the real deal?

...according to Avenatti, Cohen set up a business account at First Republic Bank and the Vekselberg-linked firm sent eight payments to the Trump lawyer from January 2017 to at least August 2017 totaling some $500,000.

I wouldn't be too surprised to see China supporting the US in the Iran embargo!

The last time the Trump administration back paddle on the trade war with China, North Korea agree to denuclearize Korea Peninsula!

It's got nothing to do with jobs in China, nor jobs in US. It's just a negotiation tactic. I bet the Chinese knew which button to push to get what they want.

for people who don't open links, THE TEXT of Trump's tweet

He Will Never Ride Without Training Wheels

"Sell the farm" is not a negotiation tactic. It's submission.

President Trump's Tweet:
"President Xi of China, and I, are working together to give massive Chinese phone company, ZTE, a way to get back into business, fast. Too many jobs in China lost. Commerce Department has been instructed to get it done!"

Please let his entranced base witness:
Too many jobs in China lost.

By the time most people read this Trump's tweet archive of "China steals intellectual property" and "China cheats on trade deals," etc will be out.

Will he finally say the magic words "Fake Tweet?"

It definitely sounds like a major suck-up, but the official rationale is that the current ban is hurting the American companies that are supplying key components to ZTE.

"why not put a monkey in charge?"

Seems like that is exactly what we did. CHN Pres buttered him up and he folded.

I noticed some pretty loud silence on his BroMance with Macron. After Macron's spouted verbal positions in our 'parliament' and subsequent actions on Iran post their last kissing date...

Oh, and BTW: [Oligarchs-R-US]

China Has Committed $500 Million to Indonesian Development That Will Include Trump Hotels and a Trump Golf Course.

After all, gotta quit all that trade war talk with your silver lining constituents...
