Life of Orange Seal in tyre seems a bit less than a year
My back tyre went a bit soft riding home on Wednesday - the tubeless tyres had been mounted about a year ago with 80ml of Orange Seal in each tyre. When I got home I checked the tyre and found what looked like a small piece of metal embedded in it. I wasn't able to get it out with a small screwdriver blade or pair of tweezers, so I had to deflate and remove the tyre. Found that what I had thought was a small piece of metal was actually this, with just the tip showing on the outside:

The 80ml of Orange Seal in the tyre had mostly dried out - there wasn't much that a paper towel soaked up and I was able to peel quite a lot if it off the inside of the tyre in large sheets of latex.
Anyway, I remounted the tyre, injected another 80ml of Orange Seal, and inflated and spun the tyre around. A small amount of sealant appeared on the outside where the hole had been, but it's now sealed and the tyre was still up to pressure this morning.
I also dismounted the front tyre to check, and similarly found the sealant almost completely dried out, so replaced that as well.
