Question for Domane Dan

Tire pressure question, or two.

Still running the orig tires on your RSL? 28s I think came on it?

What pressures have you settled into for the bike?

And without knowing your weight, I guess any answers will lack frame of reference.

pressure

I don't really worry much about tire pressure, and I haven't ridden the Domane since September, but it has 26s, and I think I generally use 95 front and rear. The suspension is so good I haven't felt the need for bigger tires. I'm now 195, can get about 10lbs lighter if I'm in shape.

Thanks.

FWIW, my 6 series has 28s now and I don't lower the pressure for additional cushy and liking it. As you said, the susp effect negates any added harshness the extra pressure have over lower ones.

My 6 does not have the front ISO De-coupler, but has the ISO ride tuned carbon steer tube and I added a Tranz-X anti-shock stem. With the fairly flexy Control Tech TUX bars got it into Cadillac cushy pretty much. ;) [I'm exaggerating of course]

Been going back and forth between Sector 28 tubeless and previous wheels with latex tubed Pro 4 Service Course 25mm, both same size inflated. I got the WH-6800 Tubeless for x-mas, thus some A/B-ing.

One take away being 25mm Pro 4 SC are 28s more than 25mm pretty much.
