Yup. The Montreal race.
It was a beautiful day. Was on my bike - checking out various view points along the course.
The riders were almost within touching distance in many areas.
Apparently the Quebec course is even more spectator-friendly and riders often mingle with fans before/after the race - around the Chateau Frontenac hotel.

This sounds awesome.
It might be worth a trip up one year, combine the 2 races and make a long weekend out of it.

I went to Montreal several times for the pro bike races up there. It's a nice course, and a great city to hang out.

We used to do multiple summer Quebec trips way back when. Great city to tourist about in IMO, or at least used to be. Old Quebec City sticks in my mind as great fun. Although I may feel differently about the elevation gains all these year later. ;)

Make it a Spring Classic!

And you might even find some with climbs with cobblestone streets.

Beautiful city indeed.
