Forrest Trump

1st time in a while we liked the news. Meaning we did not specifically feel like puking after watching that is.

Although I am once again heavily reminded of dual resignation and or threatening of same in Watergate times.

Meuller previous FBI director, the 'Special Council', or 'Special Prosecutor' if you are a left leaning reporter and Comey then AG.

They both threatened to resign when the Cheney Administration was trying to push though no warrant wire taps...

Forrest is sweating buckets I bet.

He definitely shot himself in the foot...

...when he fired Comey. All he did was compound his problems and raise more questions. It's looking more like he won't make it through his first year, which is what I was counting on. Now that Gorsuch is on the Supreme Court, Trump has served his only useful purpose and the sooner he's gone, the better.

And then we will have Pence, who won't be able to have one-on-one private conversations with the Prime Minister of Britain . . . this rabbit hole is so-o-o-o deep . . .

White rabbit

One pill makes you larger, and one pill makes you small.

The guy who wrote "Trump's" book (The Art of the Deal) says we are getting exactly what we should have expected. Fabrications, personal attacks, doubling down when caught in a lie, etc. But as Brian noted, the judiciary and the absence of a veto pen for truly noxious legislation is what was desired, and it's what they got. Mission accomplished.

I totally agree with Parkin, Pence makes me sick, but Trump is beyond any word that is in the dictionary.
No matter how bad Pence will be, trump has GOT to go.

One task at a time. I sure wish he picked a McCain and not a Pence more and more.

But at least Pence understands square pegs and round holes does not work before attempting forcing them in.

What a relief for the cabinet it could be. And Pence my actually fill the positions in the west wing.

Then the other incompetant appointees like Sessions Devos and Carsons need to go asap.

Actual Order

Adequately far reaching?? Seems so.

I wonder if he realized how quickly the 'small' would need updating. And if he ever imagined 'Citizens United' for that matter...

As far as Trump's core supporters (not the freeriders) are concern, this is nothing but another example of the establishment trying to push a true, fairly elected "people's president" out with all their tricks and treacherous.

To the white, male, unemployed voter in the rust belt who voted him in. Russia is just a place far away at the end of the earth. Their job hadn't gone to Russia so why should ANYONE care???

As I didn't vote for him to achieve some "alternative objective", I'm enjoying the entertainment, especially the performance from the Republican side.

The old phrase "when you are up to your ass in alligators, it's hard to remember you wanted to drain the swamp" has never, ever been more appropriate then right now.

Just Wow, not in any kind of good way either...

I am sure it is no mistake the artist has a 2/1 ratio in favor of NOT the white house.

When Elaine and I saw this on the news, the room went quiet as we just attempted to take it in.

while I'm quite dismay by Trump's behavior, the impeachment talk scares me too.

Trump was elected by just shy of 50% of the population who cares to vote. The majority of those who voted for him wanted change to the current establishment!

Many of them voted for Obama on his rhetoric of change. He didn't deliver much in the way of change. So they voted for change AGAIN.

To impeach Trump would be seen as the political establishment is conspiring to keep the status quote. Let's face it, it's true. Pence doesn't represent change any more than Hillary does. Republicans are voting for him with hope to sneak Pence in. Now they can't wait to actively bring down Trump as quickly as they can! If that's not a conspiracy, I don't know what is.

I hope the independent council takes its time in investigation. I don't think the Trump voters are ready for his downfall so soon. If Trump is Hitler reincarnated, as some would suggest, the current chaos will be to his advantage.

"Republicans are voting for him with hope to sneak Pence in"

Except in the current situation, the voting is over and nobody really wants to sneak Pence in, they just was some normalcy in the White House.

It is a real concern for the repercussions should Congress decide to impeach, but much is dependent on the quality of the charges. Certainly those who voted for Trump will see it as the witch hunt Trump is calling it, but they're thinking that anyway, right now. NOBODY who supported Trump is currently buying into the idea that Trump is essentially unstable, which ultimately I believe is the real concern among any level headed Republicans.

Ultimately, it will become everyone's concern. But not right now.

Plenty of "level-headed Republicans" never wanted Trump on the party's ticket. But they had no choice because their party's base wanted him! That hasn't changed yet.

Whatever "normalcy" they can hope for, they need to work it out with Trump. They made a pack with the devil, the devil is just as powerful as when the pack was made.

Remember all the prominent Republicans who signed petitions against DJT?

I knew planning an inauguration party before Halloween was ill advised. Relishing a legal take-down right now is no better. So far lots of innuendo, glancing blows and falling guards but nothing as far as proof.

The guy is good at what he does, Trump being Trump is probably how he would put it.

I agree it isn't teflon pressed into Trump's suit, it is very slick though, and nasty. Listen to his description of Comey today, "a nutcase." If being the polar opposite of DJT is being a nutcase then I guess he is. If it mean being almost an anti-politician, I guess he is. By politician I mean a real work-the-room kind of guy. Comey botched the email server business in an attempt to be open, IMO. If being forthright, honest and even-keeled describes a nutcase, Comey may be one.

I can't get past that 11th hour partisan Hilly email crap which may well have kept Sillary out of the white house.

I'm not convinced it was partisan, he may be tone deaf. The part that keeps me from being convinced of his impartiality is that DJT was being investigated too but it wasn't stated. Tone deaf, he had a freaking dog whistle caught in his throat. Yeah, I'm not convinced either way.

Get your like minded friends and relatives in other states to vote in 2018. Now is the time to start working on them. Where is your polling place? Can you absentee ballot? Etc.

Trump is a master motivator, people had instant buyer's remorse but for one day they were convinced.

HRC, well talk about de-motivational.

Get past it!

Most of anyone who didn't want to vote for Hillary had gotten their excuses on the 1st time the e-mail server hit the news. Those who got past the 1st e-mail investigation wouldn't be bothered by the 2nd one.

Those who didn't want to vote for Trump had voted for the 3rd party, to be at peace with their conscience. Until those in the borderline state realized their wasted vote counted to help Trump's win, that is.

"HRC, well talk about de-motivational."

LOL (& a sigh)
