Just makes you want to fly...

I used to have attendants happily take my Gibson Les Paul in the cloak closet the captain and attendants kept their coats in. I'd be afraid to take my current 1979 Les Paul with it's Ebony Fretboard due to a mistake in the ebony being grandfathered, and them seizing it as well. Fun fun fun. I would have taken my guitar and left the plane if they told me I had to check it in the belly...

What is wrong these days as compared to the 80s when I flew with it I dunno.

"...will have her hands examined ... by a Houston surge

The Dallas News blocked my view with a 'no ad block' card. Here are a couple of alternatives.

Thanks for the heads-up on the story, I passed it along to a couple of professionals who would've brought it up over dinner last night if they'd heard.

Houston Chronicle's take

Chicago Tribune (more in depth)

"...will have her hands examined next week by a Houston surgeon..."
