I accidentally am responsible for some fake new and stand corrected.
Same thing goes for the Dems, grow the fuck up!
Did I read this correctly, Trump fires Comey, the guy who gave him the election???
Is this how we bury the Russian Investigation?

Trump is well known to use people and toss them when he's done with them.
Did you count how many of his advisers during the election got position in his administration?

Flashback?
President Nixon yesterday discharged Special Prosecutor Archibald Cox and accepted the resignations of Attorney General Elliot L. Richardson and Deputy Attorney General William D. Ruckelshaus. The President also abolished the office of the special prosecutor and turned over to the Justice Department the entire responsibility for further investigation and prosecution of suspects and defendants in Watergate and related cases…

Well if the story end the same way, then that would be great!

Nixon trivia question: who was the Solicitor General who became acting head of the Justice Department after Richardson and Ruckelshaus resigned, and finally carried out Nixon's order to fire Cox, thus completing the Saturday Night Massacre? He became rather more famous for something else (a belated payback for his Nixon loyalty, which backfired spectacularly) 14 years later.

Not from memory, but Reagan followed up on Nixon's promise to Bork, yes?

So
that's
the trail of how SC justice nominations became partisan politics. I knew the Kennedy filibuster but I thought it was more about regressive policy than bad blood, blood from the Saturday Massacre.

Not really. The opposition was largely ideological. The Nixon incident was a minor part of the discussion.
BTW, there was no filibuster. He lost the Senate vote 58-42.

I say this is too soon.
Trump needs to be allowed to screw up more before any serious attempt to dislodge him.
Nobody wants the result of his screw up. But there's no alternatives. Me think? Comey moved too fast in his investigation.

OMG, No he didn't
He is actually tweeting about taped conversations, just in case voters did not already associate his actions to tricky Dick. The other most disrespected POTUS...
ROTFLMAO

More aptly, GBMI (defense lawyer shorthand for "guilty but mentally ill).
