Gent Wevelgem 2017 - SPORTWEEKEND

I'd really like to make this more of a spoiler. It's Tuesday y'know. With a case like this the discussion becomes more interesting than the winner. The winner was not unexpected, but what happened in this clip was key to his victory.

I'll limit my commentary to everyone earned their places.

Better footage, before this mark there are countryside shots, tune your ear for classic cycling.
About fifteen seconds in is where this clip shows the bold move that decided the makeup of the final 20 KM.

The same move, in Australian, marked where the overdub commentator says "This is where it gets really weird"

The Oz clip from the start. Action in English with no countryside.

If you're referencing the soft pedal, LeFevre has commented already that it was a tactical error on his part. Two other potential winners only 30 seconds back at that point, and he didn't think the other two could stay. He was wrong.

Lots of ink has been used dissecting QS mistake, but lets give credit to GvA and Jans K they rode their tails off, and deserved the top 2 steps.
