The secret to RFLT bliss is to close all running apps and
turn bluetooth off/on before crankng up the app.

Mag-agree as to fixing connectivity. Mine started to eat batteries, like every 8 hrs, and the firmware fix didn't. I just gave up. I like the concept, and have a bunch of now useless bluetooth sensors, but just got tired of being their beta.

Just finished a four state 400 mile ride with the RFLK+ with no battery issues and no dreaded (beta) lockups or sudden blank screens that it sounds like plagued your experience - i was right there with you even requested a RMA but was convinced to wait for the "next" firmwre update which seems to have done the trick.
In over 4K miles since using the RFLK+ in the spring, I have replaced the battery 1x.
