Good thing the clay content was non existent. You'd have bricks...
The cut hay can be very sharp, any cuts/flats from it usual out in those fields ?

Mostly pine needles, hay and SAND had to do extra duty on the brake pads and rims...today's race although moist there was sun! and no bike clean up!
