iMovie on my Mac for the editing.

Watch ABC news with Diane Sawyer tonight. The network sent me a request to use it during the national feed tonight. I doubt they will use any of it but you never can tell.

Of course I credited the music.

Wow, I'm impressed!

You definitely need to change your location.

It is all software and a GoPro, anyone can do it.

Cupertino could hire me for Apple ads. Yeah, that's the ticket.

Snow dogs

I wonder what it is about dogs and snow? I grew up with English Setters and when we would let them outside in the first snowfall of the winter they would behave the same way. They just loved running around in the snow. Little dogs maybe not so much.

Nope, they aired tall the feel good stories about Atlanta and the SOTU address instead. LOL.

At least they liked it.

Probably at least one of the editor likes it but alas, it doesn't fit the current media trend. Light hearted southerner enjoying winter probably doesn't attract viewership as much as misery!

That was the idea. I am trying very hard to be a happier, less surly person. I have issues as some of you know.

On a side note I am sleeping for the first time in years.

Well that is a very good thing. Not resting in itself is not of course...

Glad to hear that news, hope it continues...

We all have issues. Just different ones for each.

(not to turn the thread too far to the "heavy" side, since it's a mostly positive development. I'm glad mental issues of otherwise functional adults have started to come to public light and slowly lose the stigma. So those who have various milder degree of mental issues have the chance to realize you're not the only one fighting your private battle. There're plenty of other like you, living with the issue and leading a normal life! Anyway, off my soapbox back on the ground)

No beating around the bush.

Mild depression. Not debilitating and it is much better than years past. Not PTSD as many of you think. Though I have seen and been part of horrors they don't haunt or rule my life at all. Just normal American male problems that many of us suffer from. No that male problem. Life stresses, job, kids, marriage etc. They are working out, all for the better.

Depression in men is very different from how it is exhibited in women.

Now, back to Chester running in the snow.

I haven't even get to look into what's in the bush yet!

But several of my blood relatives on one side of my family had been diagnosed of the same type of disease in various forms, and I have the symptom as well, albeit milder. We all managed, with various degree of success. All leading fairly normal life. But it's the sort of thing that "what you don't know CAN hurt you". It affects the quality of life considerably.

And I have just starting to realize how intimidating the process of finding mental health care is. Insurance company also puts extra hurdle in the way. If even a relatively functional person like myself is finding it difficult, people with more severe mental problem would have a much worse chance of finding proper care unless they have others helping them out in the process.

Morgantown is buried.

We got about 10 inches overnight and its still snowing. The town is shut down.. This is the last straw for me- I'm blowing the dust and cobwebs off my cross country skis.

Winter decides it would make a guest appearance in the PNW.

Almost covered my grass so could only see snow... almost...

I got myself so spoiled riding 350 miles in 2014 so far. I got on the Computrainer today and bailed after 20 minutes, was going to go take the 29er for a ride instead. But the accountant needed something and the errand dashed that idea...

Yada

Second touch of winter for 2/2014. Pretty!

Our back yard...

Tiger after dorking out taking a rest, and left shot.

The middle yard has my shop, which is not the prettiest thing to look at...

Got about 6-7" more sine my pics/post. Winter is doing an appearance here to be sure. Calling for ice storms until late tomorrow night.

The AWD Equinox with non snows is awesome in the non cleared roads. Even the main County road was poor when I went out, the car just does not notice.
Love to see how some studded snows would do. ;)

After Monday back to the mid/high 40s so they say.
But going to wet for a while, but we needed it.
