D2R2 bike!
Just got a D2R2 email with an interesting link to an Indy Fab bike designed for D2R2 and to be raffled off. D2R2 is a very hilly dirt road ride which, in its longest version, is likely the hardest event of which I am aware (I rode a more moderate length version last year).

I'm sure this is a great bike, and perhaps Sandy Whittlesley can shred D2R2 on this bike, but I'll take some more air and rubber under me for this ride, thank you very much.
I must say I've liked every IF bike I've ever seen.

Crown Jewels are pretty darn nice road bikes to be sure. Not seen much else myself.

Double chainright...Waah!
I know quite many riders (racer type) ride the D2R2 on compact doubles. But no way in hell I'll even contemplate a double. Still, nice bike! Drool worthy...

I give the color choice 5 stars
British Racing Green and Vanilla Shake panels - same colors as my IF touring bike, which I must say, looks smashing. But unless they've changed their shade of BRG, the pictures don't do it justice - they look too dark and too blue.

The crank is interesting
http://www.whiteind.com/road-cranks.html
It incorporates a "variable bolt circle" into the outer ring. You can create combinations as wide as a 24t inner with a 52t outer. They make inner rings as large as 38t and outer rings down to the same size, so you can create pretty much anything you want. Although the crank in innovative, unfortunately you're limited to a "throwback" JIS square taper bottom bracket.
Sorry about the huge photo, it's the only one on their site.
