Watched the first two, pretty much exact same formula (pun intended) as the F1 show except this time I know the results of the races.

I'm enjoying it but reading between the lines the sit down interviews are pretty canned. To be expected, of course, athletes at that level are always on marketing duty.

Watching that Pidcock descent again. His lines were way above and beyond anything seen in road racing. #downhill rider goes road racer.

I watched the first episode of Unchained this morning. I'm very impressed with the behind the scenes stuff, you don't get that in the regular TDF coverage.

Here is some more of Pidcock doing hairy descents.

We watched the first three episodes of "..Unchained" last night While it's somewhat melodramatic and some of the background sound effects reminded me of "All Quiet on the Western Front", it's not overdone. It definitely provides insights into the race and the riders that should appeal the the general public and experienced riders alike. It has a heavy focus on individual rider stories which are quite compelling. I found the coverage of Thibot Pinot to be especially poignant. Overall, it does a good job of portraying both the beauty and brutality of professional cycling.

I watched the first episode last Thursday night and then the GF and I binge watched the entire series on Friday eve, with a break halfway for food & drink. We both really enjoyed it.

I agree with Brian's points and also thought the EF focused segments really hit on the business side of cycling (win "something" or the sponsors go away and we'll all be fired), which some casual viewers might not realize. Also appreciated the look at Pinot and just seeing Pidcock's descent!
