Well....that's awkward (pursuit paint job)
Pursuit is back from paint and, from the one (probably cell phone) pic I have received it's actually kind of heinous. Doesn't look at all like I thought it would, which is to say it's exactly what I asked for but somehow looks entirely different. I'll wait for the final pics and delivery before making a final assessment of course but the initial disappointment is strong, with none of that being directed at Carl or Pursuit of course.
Less is more. I have known that for a while and should have followed that tenet here. Le sigh.

Hmmm, I hope it looks different built up, and you'll like it as such.

Hoping. Also cell phone cameras are good but they can alter colors and the lighting is important...the frame was on a bench in a shop so lighting may have been harsh....might be stunning outdoors in "real" light. I'm remaining positive.
If it's truly ghastly to look at in person I can send it back for a new paint job next winter and hopefully make wiser choices.

Well I hope you like it better in the light of day.
If not, maybe it will inspire you to ride fast so it appears a blur......:)

Second pic I got. There was an issue with the control module for the Campy EPS so that will delay delivery by a week or two but the frame looks MUCH better to me in this light.

yeah dude, I can barely mangle a simple 4/4 12 bar blues bassline but I'm already wanting a Stingray Special 5HH....gear acquisition syndrome is real. I have to keep reminding myself that I need to learn to play the 4string basses I already have before I start expanding the arsenal any more. It's no wonder I don't have a retirement.

Nice!
Just ignore the low B on the 5 string for while. ;)
I grabbed to tinker with an Omen 8 string Guitar. And it is a Baritone scale also. That is 28" instead of 24.75
So guitar with a B and G on the bottom below the normal E. But you tune the whole thing down a step.
Then you got low A and F on the bottom to run bass lines into the looper. ;) Trying to tax my brain as much as I can to ward off cognitive decline, figure notation should help...
EDIT: I had my Blue block setting on, your colors look even better without the blues diddled lower...

"Conventional pickups produce a magnetic field that interferes with string vibration"
And slightly that attenuated vibration of string in all the music I've been influenced by and the portions of that I cover and know how to play.
I am a total snob with low output and PAF pickups and tube amps hand wired for how that response sounds and cover everything I'd play rock/electric.
See any Roland midi guitar pickups lately. ;)
