Pandering

From the accuracy of the drawing, I suspect the artist is a cyclist and knows very well the utility of cycling clothes, but is playing for an easy laugh (note the heel lifted at the top of the pedal stroke, hands on the hoods, bike construction, etc.). I donít wear Lycra for commuting or errands but do for everything else, even a short spin. Even for commuting or errands I generally wear cycling clothes, just not Lycra. And Iím old and decrepit of course.

Agree, Dan. Given the way "serious" bikes (esp saddles) are constructed, riding with anything else but dedicated bike kit is an exercise in at least discomfort if not outright pain.
