Some confusion

I am riding BikeMaine Weekend, a 3 day Covidized version of BikeMaine. Today I was wearing D2R2 bibs, which I immediately forgot. I was riding my Domane RSL, with SRAM e-shifting, which someone had asked about.

So today, at a stop, a guy said “so have you done full D2R2” (meaning the 180k course). Forgetting my bibs, I interpreted the question to be asking about DI2 shifting, so I said “no, this is SRAM.”

Once he straightened me out, we had a nice discussion about D2R2….

Did a very nice 53 mile, quite hilly ride today. Sadly that is by far the hardest ride I’ve done this year. Rode it half decent though, somewhat encouraging.

Hearing, or fatigue? Which begs the question, was the stop near the beginning or the end I guess. ;)
