I did not realize the first Roubaix Femme was upon us.

I expected to watch the replay of the usual men race, which is tomorrow it turns out.

I won't spoil, but the last 5-7km went differently that I was telling Elaine, well what should happen, it didn't. ;)

Terra Cotta

I loved Phil's "terra cotta warriors" reference. It was muddy!

THAT was an epic PR!

I thoroughly enjoyed the race and it brought home the fact that the pros are human too, despite their amazing skill and endurance. They suffered the same fates that many of us have experienced in slick conditions. The next generation of stars keeps getting bigger, seemingly with new names added every race. The future of cycling looks bright!

Paris-Tours was another really good race, the last 50km particularly. I streamed it off GCN, not sure who else carried it...
