East coast, duck y'all

Florence coming at ya!!

Outer banks in for it! Quite possibly more north depending on the track.

That is Puerto Rico and Dominican Rep lower left for scale.

3" of rain this weekend, 3" of rain this week, and a hurricane to come. Sure wish we could spread the wealth.

Rain or Shine?

I'm sweeping on a charity ride on Saturday, hoping for a rain-free morning. I don't look forward to riding in the rain, but I volunteered....

I'm not sure what the organizers will do if the rain--and the winds--are too fierce for a family-outing event.

They could cancel if the weather is severe.

It's not often ("we ride rain and shine"). But it happens. Especially negative when they should have cancel but didn't. (I know of 1 or 2 such incidents. Fingers were pointing all over the place)
