R8000 Ultegra GS Derailleur

This newest Ultegra Derailleur is Shadow Tech, My MTB Rear DRs are Shadow. This is a surprise to me for road.

Considering the Di2 [max cog 32] RD-6870-GS happily does the 34 tooth on HG800-11s Cassette. The RD-R8000-GS [max 34] has me wondering if it'll do a 36 lowest.

Got a coupon from the Trek dealer for 25.00 and RD-R8000 was on sale for 79.00. So for 54.00 going give it a go with cabled 11s VS the GS non shadow curently in use.
