Hans Solo dumps Ryan ST3KR onto Penmar Golf Course
"two spinal surgeons were playing the 8th hole at the time of the crash. They helped Ford, who was bleeding from a big gash on his head, out of the plane."
Wonder if he did his won pre-flight??

Except it's a trainer, not a fighter. But maybe he loaded up a couple of proton torpedos.
The designation in the stories confused me. Can we call it a PT-22, like the Army Air Corps did?

engine quit running. At the worst time even... No altitude or airspeed and no motor = crash
I am happy to hear it sounds like he will be okay.
Flying antique aircraft has it's risks. He earlier crashes, well I don't think those craft where as old.
I understand this is #3 for him. I would think about hanging up my headset now if I was him.
Or invest in a newer and much safer designed aircraft. He has the money to get NEW stuff. Old cars are one thing, old airplanes, uh nope.

Apparently the same FBO is the registered owner of this plane and the Helo he landed hard flipping it onto it's side.
SO this is his third crash in aircraft he was piloting, although the Helo had the instructor in it and he got credit for the incident.
I wonder if he owns the FBO or is a partner...
