"And my wife thinks I'M bad "

Can't touch that... Which commenting is touching it... never mind...

But I probably only have 15-20 loose stems. Plus about the same on bikes. My name is Sparky, I'm a _______

N+2 after Walter mails me two of those. ;O

Still can't find one you like?

Start a shop, most don't have that many in their parts bins.

its more about fit

i like them all!

my bike fleet has been thru a couple revolving-door phases, and every bike has it's quirky combo for TT length and STA. that plus me being crazy-persnickety about position, means i need lots of options!

for quill stems especially, there's more variation than you might think for actual vs specified reach. i have 140s that measure 130, 130s that measure 140, and odd-balls in between -- i love italian precision!
