Yes, it has pedals, and nothing but rim brakes and air resistance to slow it down(!).

Always a good spectacle when design limits are taken to the extreme!
The U-Tube links that pop up after the video ends show dragsters and such.

Walter, he hasn't given up yet. But he isn't an expert on aerodynamics nor on mechanics (the linear drive is not efficient compared to a crank).

What tires did he use? Excuse the pun, but I'd be a bit skittish knowing that bicycle tire manufacturers do not design their products to be used at such speed.
