Thank you, Erik. Very helpful insights.

dddd, I'm not sure that my nephew has any impression of Robin Williams at all. He's young (19) and grew up in a household that didn't do a lot of TV and movie watching. His reaction was not really about RW specifically, but just about people focusing on the death of a celebrity, which understandably seems trivial to him in his situation.

His tour ends in a few weeks (if they don't extend it; fingers crossed). Maybe I'll send him a copy of "Good Morning, Vietnam" when he gets home.

Reading the book Think Like A Freak earlier this week, it noted that there are 2xs more suicides than homicides occurring each year in the USA. The later has been steadily on the decline and gets a lot more media attention than the former. One can hope with RW's death the same will occur for the former.

@JohnC

Send him a copy of "Dead Poets Society" and "Good Morning Vietnam" Both are great.

A sleeper with some room for you to think about.

"Bicentennial Man" A wonderful story that makes you think and warms your heart.

Robin- About Cycling in NY and LA

This video is from the Daily Show. Robin seems very "up" (not drug related). Hard to believe that he committed suicide 11 months later.

Also I watched a newly released RW movie over the weekend, "The Angriest Man In Brooklyn". It is about a man that is told by his Doctor that he has 90 minutes left to live and his reactions to this. It is very eerie when he talks about that he will be dead in 2014. It is a dark comedy but there are some chuckles. My wife was not sure if she would be comfortable watching this but enjoyed it also. It definitely makes you think about life.

As you may be able to tell I will miss Robin a lot.
