I saw this in the St. 17 thread as well--Nibali just seems to be eating everyone alive; today he just stands on it and... Well.

How much scrutiny do you think HIS urine is going to get? I'll bet it's a lot.

I finally took the other's advice and put the GC out of my mind and instead focused on the battles for 2nd thru 5th. Entertaining stage if you watch it in that frame of mind, along some with great scenery and camerawork.

Kudos to CH for at least trying to attack VN! I think VN saw the chance for some measure of satisfaction for being beaten by CH at the Vuelta (when he perhaps wasn't completely well).

Indeed Nibali is crushing everyone, but lets not forget that his 2 main rivals aren't in the race, not saying that he still wouldn't have won if they were, but we wouldn't be saying that he is crushing everyone.

Lee, glad that you enjoyed todays stage, kind of bummed for Valverde, but Pinot smelled blood and put the hammer down, gotta say that TJ looked really good the last 2 days.

While I love Valverde's "never say die" spirit and grit, I really want to see the last of his generation fade away and the new - presumably clean - kids take over. While I have no particular axe to grind for French cycling, their situation reminds me of the Red Sox before they finally won the World Series a few years ago. It's time for the French drought to end; they've payed their penance for whatever sins they committed and they're due for a resurgence.

My predictions for the TT is that JC Peroud moves up to 2nd spot and Velverde knocks Pinot off the podium for 3rd.
The french still get a guy on the podium, and very likely 4 in the top 10.
