Seafood loving cyclists should definitely head to Maine this weekend. On Sunday we have both the Yarmouth Clam Festival Road Race (an excellent race that starts a couple hundred yards from my office), and the Maine Lobster Ride Century (one of Buycyling's 10 Best Centuries!) in Rockland, the Lobster Capital of the World. You get a free lobster roll after the century. Wicked sharp!

Might have to pencil this in for next year.
Are they always on the same weekend? that would make the drive up worth it.

The Clam Festival is usually the third weekend in July and the Lobster Ride may or may not be the same weekend, but they're both on Sunday so you'd have to choose (in theory you might be able to do both with a delayed start on the century but it wouldn't be very practical).

At the end of September I've got a 60 mile ride Saturday and then a century the next day, so that will be fun.
