I'd guess a 25 year old tri bike? Modified to be a commuter with flat bars? Reversed road brake on rear, 650c wheels, long top tube and steep seat angle. That would be my guess. Doesn't make it pretty though.

But that explains why the crank arms are kind of...ground-skimming.

1st bike: no to overlap for sure, but does one risk scraping their knuckles when reaching for the down tube's water bottle?

2nd bike: Funky! and the roll-bar will come in handy when using the suicide brake levers.

The reversed rear brake is Havnoonian's signature, something to do with it working more like the front brake that way. Dunno if that's real or imagined.

Every HH bike I've seen is quirky in one way or another. He is too.
