Unreal, January riding opportunities

Boy, this is a great winter so far here. Last two I did not even ride in the winter. Of course last year I was fresh into the femoral nerve injury when winter set in, but a lot wetter too for 2012-3 cold season.

41 miles on a SS ride today. [42/17 cogs] I have never done a 40 miler in Jan in my life.

Started out socked in up on the hill @ my house. But loaded the car a shoot down to the river, sun was out. What a difference 7 miles makes. ;) 45-50^ days going on, gifts!

The last 1/2 hour or so after the sun went away brought the fog back. But that 2+ hour window in the middle, well see for yourself.

Up and down in Philly, too. This is the first season I've ever been able to ride and ski in the same week. Just like San Diego.

Pretty big ski window on top of that white thing. They do not make snow either, just let the MTN's own systems take care of it. But a bit late accumulating this season because of milder winter and a lot less precip.

I don't ski since my tib/fib. I stopped bouncing so good and have cracked that few hard hits, so I fear the pain frankly. It tool the tib/fib @ 50 years old for me to figure out I was not 25 anymore, it actually sunk in....
