Strava test run [ride] and Paramount inagural

I am like 6+ miles into my ride, and DUH... Oh yea Strava, let's try this. Just a flat 15 miles, but headwind going, eesh. Was spinning and bouncing 39/21 going, until I turned into the headwind along the river. The I was pushing the gear a bit.

Paramount inaugural spin. Single Speed, an 8 speed campy wheel, I moved the chain two rear cogs on the return and flew back as compared to going. At least it felt that way.... ;) Was spinning and bouncing 39/19 on the way back... Was wishing for that big ring.

The bike is way more spirited in the steering dept with 23c tires instead of the first wheelset with the 32Cs.

I did mount up the tubulars, but did not slime them yet and want to let glue dry before the initial tubey roll. I did test the front down the street here @ 120 lb what a nice ride!

Seemed like the T-Gear Pinnacle saddle on the Record C post just belong.

What a fun bike, it is probably the best fitting bike I have been on except my Strong. Unreal and lucky!
I was totally comfortable with my forearms on the bar tops spinning. Not done that for a while.

And my 1979 531 Chrome bike. [note sew-up strapped to seat] ;)

I like that Paramount. I need to get one like that, if it comes up. Whats the rear spacing?

"Whats the rear spacing?"

It is about 124mm now, I made some comments in the other thread about that. I suspect that is wider than it was made. Rather than spread it more than 126mm I modified a uniglide wheel to take 9 of a 10 speed cassette, well 8 and the modified uniglide locking cog...

Not me. Partly because I'm not using HR or power in conjunction with Strava, but also the price. I'm using a Garmin 200.

I do, I like the estimated power charts and goals stuff. I am a data nut after I ride but only use a cheap cyclometer on the bike. For years I used nothing on my bar.

I run some too so the run data is good too. I just wish my iPhone was a newer one sometimes so I could use the HR data function. The BT HR chest strap takes a 4S or newer. My 4 won't support it.
