The sub-six pound bicycle

Apparently it's quite rideable: http://www.tririg.com/articles.php?id=1035_Worlds_Lightest_Bike

Unless you are as skinny as wiggo it would only be cool to pick it up.

Help my friend buy a used Scott Addict frame today. He just left after we bolted some parts on it so he could at least straddle it. That is the lightest 62CM frameset I have ever barely notice that I was picking it up and holding it. On par with a Parlee I think.
I told him if he put DA on it and bought my 1100 gram Reynolds wheels that a 13 lb bike should be easy pretty much. A 13 lb no stupid light either, plenty strong for a huge rider. It is semi sloping, and if I did not have the Roubaix, I would ave considered. In fact I called the guy when I saw the ad and hipped Scott to it yesterday, and today he asked me to go look at it with him.

Best part is his name is Scott, so his name is on the DT. ;)

The guy was also selling a 2012 DA wireless Litespeed T1 [with custom paint] that was his Dad's. A bad accident apparently caused him to be a non cyclist, I did not ask for details. Sad, but we all know how that can go, I do not think the bike was involved, I did not ask. For shits and giggles I asked if he would take $4000.00 for it and he said no. Looked like it was ridden a few times only.
