1st Del Sol Targa Top off Day...

What a fun little car, popped of the top, clipped it into the trunk top mount, 20 seconds.

My daily driver now, and getting just under 30MPG even running the tach up and employing the vetec solenoid probably more than I should. Stark contrast in fuel use from the E350 which is gone.

I think with keeping the RPMs under 3-4k it might get more like 34-5 MPG, but not be quite as fun. ;)

My ride to ride ride, something the Van was not very practical for using @ 11 MPG.

Del Sol

I've always liked the look of those, and I'm a bit of a Honda fan, so--sounds like a blast!

Talking about Honda fans, I'm as much a fanboy as they come. I'm on my 4th Honda car; Formerly a '92 Accord and a a 2000 CRV, currently a 2003 Accord and a brand new 2013 CRV. I also have a Honda lawnmower and a Honda snowblower. Happy with every one.

I got it for my kid, and found out it was an Si/V-tec after the fact. [think I posted that already here] No emblems on it etc. The INS for this for a 20 year old is high. So keeping it for me, and got son a Escort Wagon. Neutral insurance risk comparatively judging by the INS quote difference.

It has a mashed quarter panel and other body damage and is not in very good condition. Doors latch fine, damage not that bad. V-tec engine, new clutch and front tires and only 140k miles on it. Plus it had new plates that stay with the car meaning emissions was passed and two years worth of plates are on it.

I like it, and love the MPG for a non slug for a car.
