Dirt bags in VA

Heads up, these guys are brazen.

Lock your bikes, even in the shop. This is a high end bike being lifted at 14:10hrs.

Takes me back to when my stolen Seven Axiom was recovered three years later in Virginia when a thug brought the bike to a LBS wanting "normal bike pedals.
The LBS called Seven and the s/n led them to me.

Even with the report I filed with local PD and Seven at the time of the theft, the Virginia PD asked me to prove the bike was actually stolen and not something i sold which is what the thug claimed.

Sometimes the rights of the guilty seem to be upheld more than the rights of the afflicted.
For those who have suffered credit card fraud you know how that feels.
The CC company asks you a long list of questions yet they won't reveal anything.

Hope this has a good outcome for the LBS.

Wow. Couldn't even time the pickup very well...will be surprised if they don't make some dumb mistake and get caught...
